History

The beginnings of MFM Worldwide

Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries grew from a prayer meeting called by Dr Daniel Kolawole Olukoya in 1989. Twenty-four people gathered in his living room. As more people joined, the meetings moved to a larger venue on Old Yaba Road in Lagos and later to Olasimbo Street in Onike, Yaba, which became the international headquarters.

MFM held its first church service on 24 April 1994. The ministry subsequently expanded through branches in Nigeria and internationally, carrying its emphasis on the gospel, prayer, holiness and deliverance to communities around the world.
